Xrandr not working

HI everyone, I have an "HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx" and when I conenct an HDMI cable and use xrandr (for example:)

xrandr --output HDMI-1-1 --auto

I get the error

xrandr: Configure crtc 3 failed

I'm pretty sure that it has to do with my nvidia gpu and with the whole "Prime offload" thing that I still can't figure out. Can somebody help me fix it?
