Intermittent Loss of Audio using Pipewire

I am intermittently losing audio when using various applications like Firefox and VLC. I've noticed that when I pause a video or audio content, wait around 5 seconds, and hit play again, the audio returns. I'm using Gnome and when I open Settings and go to the Sound section, and look at Volume Levels, it shows:

the application I'm using
pulseeffects with a microphone icon
pulseeffects with a video/audio icon.

When I hit pause and wait those 5 seconds, the 2 'pulseeffect' entries go away, and I'm able to hear audio again when pressing play (along with those pulseeffect entries coming back).

I started having the problems after I updated my system and it asked to switch over to using Pipewire. I have a FiiO E10K i'm using to output audio but even plugging headphone directly in the front of my computer does the same thing.

Finally, I've noticed that when I quit the Settings application while video or audio is playing, there's a little bit of crackling of audio that comes and goes quickly. Any suggestions?

That did it. Thanks!

Edit: Spoke too soon. I did a fresh restart of my computer and it did it immediately after going to YouTube. It was working well all through the rest of the day after putting in the changes. Instead of a whole heap of error message, it says:

Check all of the relevant journal entries:

Running that command gives me this:

I ran it when it was giving me problems and again when I paused it for 5 seconds and resumed.

Running this command again gave me some new information:
