[FIXED] nvidia upgrade broken

I just did an upgrade today. When booting, I found lightdm would repeatedly fail to load. After some tinkering, downgrading packages from the last update, I narrowed it down to linux and nvidia. Upgrading either (or both) resulted in lightdm failing (or any other display manager I tried, presumably X was broken in general). Downgrading both packages resolved the issue. The upgrades were from nvidia 640.67-1 to 640.67-4 and from linux 5.11.7.arch1-1 to linux 5.11.10.arch1-1. I have downgraded both packages for now and have them listed in ignorePkg.

Updating either alone is *supposed* to break.

Post your xorg log while both are updated.

Yeah, I didn't expect them to work alone, just figured I'd mention. Anyway, not really sure what happened, but I upgraded the packages again and it's suddenly working. I'm wondering if maybe the install was corrupted and reinstalling fixed the problem. Should've checked that first. Anyway, this is fixed now, thanks for the help anyway.

Could also be a race condition, not all that uncommon, unfortunately. If it happens again, try adding the modules to the initramfs so they get loaded earlier.

Oh, you know what, I figured out the problem. I looked back through my pacman log and realized the FIRST time I upgraded tonight, it looks like the linux kernel actually got upgraded to 5.11.9 instead of 5.11.10. I checked and the upgrade on arch happened pretty recently. I'm thinking the mirror was out of sync or something.
