During installation: iwd.service Failed to start wireless service

I am attempting to install Arch 32 on a Sony Vaio VPC P11 series laptop. During boot via USB, a few notifications pop up saying "Failed to start wireless service" and when I am able to begin the installation process, running

iwctl

gives me an eternal "waiting for IWD to start. . .". When I look into `systemctl status iwd` I get the following input:

iwd.service - Wireless service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/iwd.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since [DATE]
Process: 424 ExecStart=/usr/lib/iwd/iwd (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
Main PID: 424 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

archiso systemd[1]: iwd.service: Scheduled restart job, restart counter is at 5.
archiso systemd[1]: Stopped Wireless service.
archiso systemd[1]: iwd.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
archiso systemd[1]: iwd.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
archiso systemd[1]: Failed to start Wireless service.

This device unfortunately doesn't have an ethernet port, so what are my options?
