Search for AUR package doesn't find some packages
For example, search for "box2d" doesn't find the box2d package https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/pack … ages/box2d
Why is that?
Sorry that I posted in Newbie Corner, Forums don't seem to contain a relevant section.

Box2d is in extra, not the AUR.

There are apis for both the repos and the AUR that you can query, eg.: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Of … _interface
It's straightforward enough to write a script that queries the official repos for packages, and if that doesn't return a result, searches the AUR.

If dependancy is not the issue (Qt5) there's also https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pkgbrowser
It's gui only, though.
