Start I3 automatically without login window
I want to use I3 as my window manager. I know that logging in and choosing the wm is usually done by a display manager. However, I don't know if this is the right solution for me, as a) I want to log in automatically without having to enter my password and b) I only use one wm anyway.
What is the easiest way to achieve this? I don't have anything against display managers in general, but I wouldn't want to have a login screen every time I start my PC.

I am using the forums in hopes of getting an explanation directly suited to my problem. If I understood every part of arch and its wiki, I wouldn't have asked in the first place. Thanks, but just passive-aggressively posting a wiki link is not helpful.

Your OP doesn't state anything about the wiki or which parts of it you'd struggle with.
How am I supposed to infer that you don't understand the wiki?
Also instead of insinuating malintent, you could have explained where you stall - in which case I could now have given you a meaninful answer.
Also the wiki links *are* "directly suited to [your] problem.

There is also https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nodm, but it is unmaintained.
