hello all,
I have been having a crazy webcam issue. I have a focusrite scarlett 2i2 in my audio booth that is plugged into a usb 3.0 hub, via a powered usb 3.0 extension cable to my computer on the other end of the room.
the audio interface works great. I recently moved my razer kiyo webcam from my computer to the audio booth and plugged into the same usb 3.0 hub as my focusrite. when I try to record audio and video from my booth, only 1 of the devices works at a time. If I start the webcam first, the audio doesn't work, if I start audio first, the webcam doesn't work.
I'm currently running kernel 5.11.10-arch1-1, and system is up to date.
is it possible to have my webcam and my focusrite interface both work at the same time connected to a usb 3.0 hub?

edit: I edited the original post that was talking about no video in zoom, since it's not isolated to zoom.
SOLUTION: ran a second USB cable to where I have my camera.

I have tested with zoom, OBS, MPV, etc.
If I connected either device to a different usb port, they were, though this is not an option since my computer is at the opposite end of the room as my audio booth.
