I have installed Windows 10 and Linux Arch installed with KDE. My Bluetooth manager is BlueZ and my sound system is Pulseaudio.
I have noticed a problem which is quite annoying: Windows seems to adjust the volume of the Bluetooth device itself, while KDE has it's own slider, which doesn't directly adjust the device volume. Why this is a big deal? Firstly, buttons on the headset adjust the device volume, while KDE volume control only changes it's own settings, so these two things aren't in sync. On Windows my volume is 30, so is the device's volume; to hear the sound on Arch the same way as on Windows, I need to set the volume in KDE to 100, but if I need to make it louder I will have to use headphone buttons for volume control. I find this very annoying and I would prefer to KDE volume controls to adjust the device's volume directly.
Is there any solution to this problem?

Holy hell I hate separate volume controls in headsets.
AFAIK it is an issue the lack of ease of control of such function.
Searches get manual control using dbus but I wouldn’t call that “optimal”.
