I have a Mi Silent Mouse that operates both in bluetooth mode and wireless dongle mode and has 2 thumb buttons. If i use the wireless dongle the thumb buttons are automatically detected (no configuration needed) and i can use them with imwheel for instance, but in bluetooth mode they aren't detected at all and xev doesn't output anything whatsoever.
Since i have a laptop I would prefer using bt mode because of the reduced number of USB ports but i can't seem to make it work.
Any ideas how to solve this?
