How to solve "A stop job is running for Session c2 of user" problem ?

Hello,

since 2 weeks I notice a problem when I reboot or shutdown my PC : I can see often this message from systemd (especially after a long session) :

A stop job is running for Session c2 of user

This message slowdowns the reboot/shutdown, is there a way to debug this message ? (with journalctl for example)

I use plasma as desktop manager.

Thanks.

Should be logged in the journal yes, after encountering the issue a

sudo journalctl -b-1

and checking near the end should give you information on which client lead to the session stop being delayed. Something else you can do is switch to a different TTY and check the process list while the stop job is timing out
