any program for linux that does content aware fill / resynthesizer

i did try installing paint.net since it has a content aware plugin but it fails to even install with wine. i know gimp has an old plugin that does resynthesizing but its python based, arch dropped python support since gimp themselves did, and i don't really want to keep messing with the AUR with python-gimp as it keeps breaking... i'm wondering if there is another program out there on linux that does something similar?
