[SOLVED] Problem to login with xorg for display server

Hello everybody, i have a problem: when i try to login into a desktop environment that use Xorg it makes me come back to the screen to select user.
First i tried with gdm, next i tried to disable it login and start desktop environment from terminal. Both method return to the page to select user. I've tried both with plasma and gnome.
Anybody can help me please.
P.S.: sorry if I wrote something wrong or in the wrong place but is my first Issue.

Please post your system journal ("sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io") after a failed attempt to start the X11 session.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem to login with xorg for display server

You logged in at 10:08:36, ran "sudo systemd-analyze" at 10:08:55 logged out at 10:09:30 and re-logged in at 10:09:34 to run "sudo journalctl -b" at 10:09:50
There's no suggestion of anything inbetween, not even an attempt to launch the X11 server.

I assume it reflects

next i tried to disable it login and start desktop environment from terminal

=> Please elaborate how exactly you "start desktop environment" (what command, your xinitrc, …)

Sanity check:

pacman -Qs xorg-server

For start plasma x11 from terminal I use

exec startplasma-x11

I found this command in /usr/share/xsessions/plasma.desktop

If I start plasma with wayland work correctly

exec startplasma-wayland

Also don't run "exec startplasma-x11" but just "startplasma-x11", the exec replaces the current shell so instead of potential debug output, you just get the login prompt when startplasma-x11 exits.

I've run

exec startplasma-x11

because if I run without exec I received this error:

$display is not set or cannot connect to the x server

Anyway I solved. I think was a bugged version because i upgrade the system, and I have seen that between updates there was also that of xorg.

Thank you for your time
