[SOLVED] Slightly delay when playing any audio type file

Greetings Arch community.

I have a simple Arch installation, some relevant characteristics are:

  • KDE Plasma;

  • ALSA;

  • PulseAudio;

The issue that I am running through is that whenever I try to execute any type of file sound, regarding any source (eg. Spotify, You tube video, Whats-app audios, etc...), the first 0.5 ~ 1 second of its content is lost. Once the audio starts playing, I always have to go back to the beginning of the file/video/music to understand its full content.
I'm sure that it isn't due to lack of performance/ram, my machine suffer with this problems even when the sound files are the only thing opened + this laptop isn't weak.

As said above I'm running KDE plasma, ALSA and PulseAudio. Any ideas of why this is happening? Any inputs are welcome.

Re: [SOLVED] Slightly delay when playing any audio type file

It was solved by commenting the following line in /etc/pulse/default.pa: load-module module-suspend-on-idle
