Hi everyone!
I'm having issues setting up a 120Hz display through HDMI. I'm using an AMD GPU (Radeon 5700XT), GNOME 3 DE.
I've tried forcing the resolution through xrandr by using both cvt/gtf commands.
I can set the resolution 1920x1080 up to 100Hz, but anything else above that the screen starts to show a "pink" color, and at about 120hz the display flickers and sometimes loses connection.
The thing is, I know my monitor is capable of displaying 120Hz through HDMI because i use the exact same setup on Windows, and there the 120Hz mode is enabled without any issues.
Also, if it helps, it works perfectly normal through DisplayPort, the issue is that i have to use HDMI right now.
Below is the output for xrandr (the last modes are my attempts of setting the refresh rate).
Thanks for the help in advance.
