CPU stuck

I edited the grub config to set timeout to zero seconds, regenerated the config file, and then rebooted but I was met by the error:
[       37.883859] watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 23s! [systemd-udevd:175]
now everytime i boot my system i am greeted by the same error everytime. How to solve this?

Re: CPU stuck

Might be a race condition , could also be a kernel problem.

Does this also happen if you set a reasonable timeout like 6 seconds ?

Please post full dmesg output (run as root)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
