Invalid ISO

I tried creating a bootable usb with iso but message says:

" Invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and then press any key "

I have tried different servers from [https://archlinux.org/download/] download page, Linux distros, usb devices, usb ports, different devices. In all the combinations the common variable is Arch Linux.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

BIOS Version : A09
Device : Dell Inspiron N5010

Downloaded iso from download page and made a bootable usb through PowerISO.

Re: Invalid ISO

I don't see PowerISO listed on the wiki page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/US … ion_medium), why did you expect it to work?

Do you get this message when trying to write the ISO to the USB drive in PowerISO or when booting the USB drive?

Did you select "Raw write" (the recommended method) as the write method?

Re: Invalid ISO

Have you configured the target machine to boot from the USB drive?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: Invalid ISO

I forgot to mention I also used multiple softwares.
I used Rufus and it gave same results.

No, I didn't see that message when using Power ISO.
Yes, I selected "Raw Write".

Yes, I was booting from USB.

Re: Invalid ISO

try that usb on a different pc/vm see if it works, if it does then there's something wrong with your system, if it doesn't boot and has the same issues as you then try a different usb, also try ventoy.
