How do i set my keyboard layout to UK? - resolved

Hey I would like some help setting my keyboard layout to the standard UK layout, I have tried alot of things and none of them have worked,

I have tried :
"localectl set-keymap --no-convert uk"

I also have tried :
"KEYMAP=uk" in /etc/vconsole.conf

I have also tried :
"localectl list-keymaps | grep -i uk"

and of course
"loadkeys uk"

none of these have worked, please can I have some assistance

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
