chromium: Can't resolve IPv6 only address

Hi,

i'm having some services running in an IPv6-only VPN. I've had the IPv6 addresses hardcoded in /etc/hosts, but i've also tried setting up a custom DNS server now (which didn't fix the issue).
When I try to open the service at the specified URL in Chromium, it responds with DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN (This site can’t be reached).

I'm using systemd-resolved as resolver, and resolvectl resolves the domain just fine.
Firefox has no issues with it either.

The URL i'm trying to access has a different IP on the normal internet, but a custom IPv6 one in my VPN. It will break as soon as I add the IPv6 address to my /etc/hosts file and reload the page.

Edit: Chromium Version: Version 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit), it worked fine a few weeks ago (unfortunately i don't know the exact timeframe when it started breaking)

Edit: found the issue... https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is … ?id=530482
