In the section to enter disk partitions and mount points, the prompt says "enter blank when done".
I expect to enter nothing but the Enter key.
The prompt repeats itself in an infinite loop no matter what is entered.

Moving to the guided installer section.
Is the archinstall.log generated? Can you post it?
@Torxed any pointers?

If you want to keep the existing partitions, it looks like archinstall requires you to mount at least two, the root partition at "/" and a boot partition (the efi partition) at "/boot".

Thanks. The installer gave no hint of this.

Thanks. The installer gave no hint of this.
Apologies for the confusion, I will make this a bit more clear for the next version.
The partitioning is the next main focus of re-working.
Apologies for the delay in answering as well, I still get no notifications from this sub-forum.

You mean even after clicking "Subscribe to this forum"?

Yepp, asked for support on IRC but haven't heard anything yet.
I do get notifications after subscribing to individual threads however, like this one. But I'd have to actively subscribe to each topic.

Does the installer only work with UEFI systems?
If I try booting the iso from a USB stick (in Legacy mode) I get an error. If I boot in UEFI mode, the installer only gives me the option to install a UEFI Arch Linux.
I use BIOS bootmode and an MBR disk (and no separate /boot partition...)

Looks like bios/mbr support has been added[1] [2] in version 2.2.0 which was released 2 days ago [3].

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
