MuseScore MIDI output is of bad quality

Using Timidity and freepats-general-midi soundfonts.

The sound is OK in Frescobaldi and Rosegarden, but not in MuseScore. (and if Fresco and MuseScore is open together, the sound is also broken.)

The sound output has cracking voices, like lots of noise.

Using AppImage from MuseScore website fixes it.

Re: MuseScore MIDI output is of bad quality

So you actually mean audio output from a MIDI file rather than MIDI output to a connected device?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: MuseScore MIDI output is of bad quality

I imported MIDI to MuseScore, and played using MuseScore, and outputed to laptop speaker.
