nvidia 390xx breaks with 5.12 kernel

Since i have updated to linux 5.12.2.arch1-1 sddm does not boot anymore.
Only tty log in possible. I use nvidia 390dkms so at every kernelupdate mkinitcpio will be implemented automatically and it was no issue at all. Until now... The last working kernel is 5.11.16. Now i have 5.12.2 which does not work, however 5.10.34 lts is working with sddm perfectly.
Shall i wait for a kernel update to fix this issue or do i have to do something manually??
What i did so far:
reinstall kernel and headers
run manually mkinitcpio -P
run manually mkinitcpio -p linux
reinstall sddm

You shouldn't hijack unrelated threads.

You need to actually update the nvidia-390xx packages, they've received a bugfix for 5.12 compatibility. So download the newest version from the AUR again.
