I looks like libglade was removed from extra ~3 days ago. This package is a dependency of pygtk, which is required by 312 packages in the AUR.
My understanding is that libglade should have been uploaded to the AUR, but wasn't (yet)? Is that the normal procedure?

I think so? Have you got a link? Or are you confusing libglade and glade?

Yes, libglade was dropped just over 2 days ago, commit d495dd03be43d7ef84c97d2fd540f9aaa48296f1. Things dropped from the repos are often, but not always, added to the AUR. When the Dev/TU doesn't, a user usually does it, but there's a bug in the blacklist code right now, so that's not possible.

Apparently. I searched for libglade and of course glade came up instead. Nevermind me.

Thanks @Scimmia. Sorry, are you saying the bug prevents the Dev/TU adding it to the AUR? I presume it's still entirely possible for users to add it?

Other way around. TUs are AUR admins and can push bypassing the blacklist. Regular users can't, and even Devs who aren't TUs can't, I believe.
I just checked, and the Dev that remove it isn't a TU, so they probably weren't able to add it to the AUR either.

Ah bummer. Oh well, hopefully a TU reads this and submits it to the AUR. Thanks again @Scimmia.

The version from the arch linux archive still works. (for now)
