[Solved] How to set custom KDE splash as default

I have created a custom KDE splash. I was able to install it successfully at ~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/CustomSplash.
It also works if I run a test: ksplashqml --test --window CustomSplash.
How do you set it as default splash theme? When I go to Settings -> Appearance -> Splash Screen, I don't see it as listed and there doesn't seem to be an option to set from local file.
How does one set this custom splash as default?

Re: [Solved] How to set custom KDE splash as default

I sorted it out. it needs to be in a .desktop directory in order for KDE to see it as a plugin.
