arch poweroff/reboot freeze

Equipment: surface Pro 6, installation of win10 and arch dual system

Kernel: Linux arch 5.12.2-arch1-3-surface

Question time: may 13-may 14, 2021

Problem: when shutdown / reboot, the computer will get stuck. I had to press the power button to shutdown.

INFO: task shutdown:1 blocked for more than 122 seconds.
    tainted:G C 5.12.2-arch1-3-surface #1
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disable this message.
INFO: task kworker/0:3:191 blocked for more than 122 seconds.
    tainted:G C 5.12.2-arch1-3-surface #1
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disable this message.

I try to use the "echo 0 > / proc / sys / kernel / hung" in the picture_ task_ timeout_ Secs "disable this message

#/etc/sysctl.conf

Sometimes,error code is that:

snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: azx_get_response timeout, switching to single_cmd mode: last cmd=0x00170500
snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0: Unable to sync register 0x2b8000. -5
snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0: Unable to sync register 0x2b8000. -5

I ran

sudo journalctl -b -1 | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io

and result is here.http://ix.io/3noM

vm.dirty_ background_ ratio = 5
vm.dirty_ ratio = 10

But the problem is here, i can`t shutdown it.

Re: arch poweroff/reboot freeze

Please don't embed huge images directly.

Sounds like a surface kernel specific issue, and on a quick googler you probably want to follow: https://github.com/linux-surface/linux- … issues/439 and the relevant lkml threads mentioned there.

You seem to have hit report instead of reply:
