can not find new install applications

When I install some new applications on my archlinux，I cannot find them by Program launcher，But when I use 'sudo pacman -Q' and 'sudo pacman -Ql', Terminal can list them, I can start these applications from '/usr/share/applications/'，like timeshift-gtk.desktop
This problem I have never encountered，Can anyone please point me what I'm doing wrong, thanks.

You need to elaborate especially on "Program launcher" but maybe also on "some new applications" for a pattern.
Do they show up if you re-login to your session (and/or restart "Program launcher")?
