[SOLVED] hp laptop fans are not working
Hello, am having fresh installation on Ryzen 7 4700u with radeon graphics (amd renoir), the problem is the fans are not working (nothing, no fans at all). I have https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/amdgpu-fan/ installed but I've got the following error

That amdgpu-fan script is for desktop PC graphics cards. It's not for laptops.

Thanks for the feedback, yes it's a laptop. amdgpu-fan uninstalled, now what? I have no fans at all (and that's not good)

Until to solve this, I have enabled "fan always" from Bios to be safe.

It's sadly sort of normal that there's no support on laptops with lm_sensors. The different manufacturers seem to do their own thing and need special drivers for fan control. I saw drivers for ASUS and Dell stuff and Thinkpads and Macbooks in Arch repos and AUR.
There's an interesting project named "notebook fan control" = "NBFC". You can find AUR packages by looking for "nbfc". The project's home is somewhere on github.com. Maybe see if it already has a config file for your laptop model or see if you can find out how to write one yourself. This NBFC software is also on Windows, so hopefully it has a wide user base to find help.

Is this right? I mean, i should not worry about it? (because something inside me say i should, until to be sure)

Stress it a bit more moderately, keep an eye (and a hand) on the temperature - at some point the fans should™ kick in.
The critical temperaturs in the sesnsors output are most likely BS, but a case temperature ~30°C is nothing where a fan would have to intervene.
