GDM stuck on black screen with blinking cursor

Since last month, I have this bug on three different laptops, all three with arch linux (two of them are a fresh clean install) and all three with the same AMD CPU (A8-6410, one it's A8-7410 but it's basically the same CPU with the same integrated graphics).

When I boot up gdm service load and a white cursor appears on the top left of the screen, after some seconds this same cursor start blinking and gdm doesn't show up, during all of this gdm service it's still running and doesn't report any issue. On the two freshly installed laptops I can workaround this by switching to another tty and then switching back again to tty1, gdm finally loads and I'm able to login, on the other one I have to restart gdm a copuple of times and then the tty switching trick works.

Once GDM it's loaded, I'm unable to login with wayland, only with X11, I've enabled on all three of them early kms start and checked it's actually working via dmesg logs, doesn't seems to make any difference, I've also tried downgrading gdm, gnome-shell, mutter, wayland, linux and xf86-video-amdgpu, problem still persist.

Any suggestion on how to fix this? Or at least how to find what's causing the problem

Re: GDM stuck on black screen with blinking cursor

Small update, I've changed wireless card on the laptop wich required various gdm restarts, and now behave like the other two

Re: GDM stuck on black screen with blinking cursor

Package update yesterday magically fixed both gdm and wayland, but I wasn't able to login with my main account untile I had reset dconf settings
