Hello,
I have a Macbook pro with a GeForce 9400M and on boot I had the message:
"The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M GPU installed in this system is supported through the NVIDIA 340.xx Legagy drivers. Please visit http://nvidia.com/object/unix.html for more information."
So I installed the driver through the AUR package.
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/nvidia-340xx-utils.git
makepkg -sigit clone https://aur.archlinux.org/nvidia-340xx.git
makepkg -siBut now I get a black screen on boot.
I know how to boot on single mode to get the console, but on single mode I have no network and can't install any new package.
What could I do to go back to the default driver?
Thanks,
Vincent.

See the 2nd link in my signature.
Also https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … ed_drivers
Nvidia no longer supports drivers for your card. This means that these drivers do not support the current Xorg version
