[SOLVED] Applications' menu bar drop down won't disply

I'm using arch with i3 window manager.

and some of the applications' top menu won't display the drop down when on click (like libreoffice, gucharmap), and the teminator won't display it's right click menu.

Even it can't display so well, I can still click the place where those menu used to be and it kind of work.

the i3-dump-log got no related error.

I've been all day working on that and it's still can't figure out what's wrong

1. please don't bump, edit your post if nobody has replied so far
2. please use code tags, not quote tags for this kind of stuff
3. I suspenct it's more a compositor (picom) than your WM (i3) because of " I can still click the place where those menu used to be and it kind of work"

Thank you for your advise. It worked.

I use 

pkill compton

and those menu display successfully.

Then I changed my compton settings, the problem solved.
