Hello,
I use a monitor with my laptop running Arch with sddm. On every restart, the wallpaper on the monitor screen is only shown on about a third of the screen (on the right, top/bottom monitor/laptop screen positioning). I can get the context menu by right-clicking only in the region where the desktop is shown. If I pull the HDMI cable and reconnect, the screen resets and desktop shows properly. I have a minimal KDE install with the following packages:
sddm
xorg xorg-init
plasma-desktop
breeze-gtk kde-gtk-config (I have enabled Breeze theme in sddm.conf)
kdeplasma-addons
kscreen
... and a few other utilities.
Based on the above would you have an idea what is causing the issue? I'd much appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!

sddm
xorg xorg-init
Do you use sddm or xinit?
What configures the outputs?
Post your xinitrc and if you fork xrandr to arrange the outputs, don't do that.
What's the output of "xrandr -q" before and after sanitizing the situation?
