[SOLVED]MATE workspace switcher

I keep my workspace-switcher on a wide auto-hide panel. The cells of the workspace switcher are much smaller than I like .  3*5 mm on my 1920x1080 display. In Ubuntu MATE this is not a problem.

Cell size does not appear in the properties dialog or in the dconf dump of it.

I suspect this is because of an assumption that the workspace-switcher will be on a narrow, always visibile top or bottom panel.

What can I do? Is there an alternative?

I haven't found anything through pacman queries or a a search of the Aur.

Looking for the wrong thing probably. Any idea what that should be?

So

I installed https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/downgrade/

and then

# downgrade libwnck3
