[Solved] Error: property '303' doesn't exist

Back to Archlinux after quite a while. Minimal install + Openbox.

When starting a terminal I get this message

property '303' doesn't exist, you need to specify its type and format

What do I have to look for?

Your shell initialization files. A googler for the message shows that this is the output xinput can produce with invalid property settings. If this comes up in every terminal you'll likely have set this in your .bashrc or so.

Thanks! That solved it. I had taken over the .bashrc from an older installation. Just deleted the unnecessary xinit entry.
