["SOLVED"] libvips pkg not providing typelib file

Hi,
I was trying to work with gobject and libvips earlier, and was wondering why I was getting a typelib missing error, until I noticed it wasn't provided by the libvips package. libvips-git does have it though.
Is this intentional? Or would this be considered a bug with the libvips package?

Open a feature request asking for gobject-introspection to be added to makedepends / optdepends.
