Hi all,
I'm stuck with Linux 5.11.9 because whatever other next version I install I end up with a black screen at boot. I can't find anything in journalctl. This is the log from the broken boot.
Can you please help me?

If you are using an AMD CPU with just Integrated Graphics (maybe even some GPUs), you might be able to get around it by opening TTY (Ctrl+Alt+F2 or any other F-key) and then reopening the GUI with Ctrl+Alt+F1. If it now shows your desktop manager login message, you can add a early load of the amdgpu driver (check the wiki here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … KMS_start)

I apologize in advance if some of my comments or replies don't make any sense, English is not my main language, although I try! Thank you for understanding, you can also point out stuff I misspell or just doesn't sound right.

Hi nunopenim, I'm on a laptop with Nvidia Optimus. Anyway, since the latest 3 kernel updates the problem is fixed.
