[SOLVED] Plymouth BGRT theme makes Arch unbootable

Trying to boot arch using the bgrt theme (or any attempt to use "UseFirmwareBackground=true") makes arch unbootable, kicking me back to the rEFInd menu, although the exact same theme works fine on fedora.

Nevermind, it just decided to work after the 4th time reapplying, then having to chroot in and change the theme back to one that didnt use the firmware option.
