In the past week I've been unable to use my microphone ONLY in Zoom and ONLY in Arch. I've never had this problem. A few facts:
1. Microphone shown to be working fine in Pavucontrol.
2. Microphone works fine with other video chat apps -- Wire and Signal.
3. Microphone works fine in Zoom with other OSes -- OpenSuse VM guest and Windows 10 guest with Arch host.
4. Microphone is recognized by Zoom in Arch as seen in Zoom audio settings.
5. Video, audio output and everything else works as expected in Zoom on Arch.
This leaves me to conclude that something has changed in Arch in the last week that doesn't allow Zoom to use the microphone, even though Zoom can find it. I have tried un/re-installing Zoom both as flatpak and from Arcolinux repository to no avail. Changes made to the system before this problem emerged include installation of usual updates and installation of pulseaudio-bluetooth.

Your zoom stream is muted and recording from the webcam (which is also muted), both conditions you probably don't want. Since zoom has the annoying specialty of defining their recording sink as hardcoded to a specific input you can't move that outside of zoom, but you should double check your zoom settings to select the actual device you want. Also the webcam mic is defined as the default source to try for new applications, to help prevent issues like these you probably want to change that to the mic:

A very excellent tip. I went into the recording section of Pavucontrol while recording in Zoom and unmuted. That seemed to activate the microphone in Zoom. I hadn't really looked under recording in Pavucontrol because there has to be recording going on to show anything and didn't make the association.
