Unable to connect to Samba shares

So I wanted to set up Samba and I can connect with the network but can not connect to shares, like on a local hard drive for example.

I am thankful, if someone can help me out at this.

This is your only "share" next to printers…

[homes]
   comment = Home Directories
   browseable = no
   writable = yes

Where did you copy that nonsense from. What is it supposed to share?
