Hi,
The unrar package in current (unrar-3.6.8-1) does not work. Note the size is off, it is <2k and should be ~90k. Rebuilding from the PKGBUILD works.
Also, the kernel-headers package is on the server, but not in the package list, so it is not being detected by pacman. This causes the glibc-2.4-4 upgrade to complain.

What do you mean?
$ ls -l /usr/bin/unrar
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 171976 2006-09-23 10:24 /usr/bin/unrar
$ pacman -Q kernel-headers
kernel-headers 2.6.18-3

The package at ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/current/os/x86_ … pkg.tar.gz is only 2kb. If you install it, unrar is missing from /usr/bin.
Also, the ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/current/os/x86_ … .db.tar.gz there does not have kernel-headers-2.6.18-3 in it:
[root@arch_64 ~]# pacman -S kernel-headers
kernel-headers: not found in sync db
Also, the kernel-headers-2.6.18-3 package complains about scsi.h scsi_ioctl.h sg.h existing when you go to install it.
These are all easy to get around.

Oh, seems like I didn't pay attention to "Arch64 & Other Architectures", sorry.

No problem, I thought maybe I was on a different mirror.
It seems that the A64 nvidia package has an issue as well. There is a PKGBUILD posted here that can fix it if someone needs it. (for the newer 2.6.18 kernel)

Eh, the unrar package is still busted?

Fixed now and working.
