TLDR: iwd no longer detects adapters or devices upon reboot.
The only thing out of the ordinary I was doing before shut down was running nuxhashd. That wasn't quite running properly, and I shut down to boot into windows. Upon return to Arch, something is failing in my network stack. I use iwd as per the wiki, and would be happy to provide any and all configuration details requested, to the best of my ability, since I cannot copy-paste things directly from my affect computer.
lshw -C network : looks fine. it seems like somewhere, the OS is detecting the onboard wifi
lspci -k : nothing at all reflecting the wifi card.
Some hardware specs:
Threadripper 3960X, ASUS ROG STRIX TRX40-E gaming motherboard (onboard wifi), mixed memory (shouldn't matter)
I am able to chroot into the system if need be from another operating system to do maintenance perhaps with an active network, but tbh everything should be here on my system. Drivers/firmware etc. I've had no issues connecting to the internet in the past.
EDIT:
Resolution was to reboot several times, and by waiting, the entropy pool was increased. I read somewhere that after mining, your system's entropy pool is depleted and sometimes system services won't start properly.

Otherwise (try hard, though - you'll likely have to reboot windows once after changing this) please post the outputs of "ip l", "lspci", "lsusb" and "dmesg" - you can redirect them into files and upload them from windows.

Thanks Seth. It looks like the entropy pool was low, and restarting a few times in a row seems to have solved the issue.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
