How can I use virtual super resolution on wayland?

I want to render everything in a higher resolution and then scale it down to my monitors resolution so that then games look better, cause that would be the best anti aliasing.
I am using kde.
Btw would that have any disadvantages? Cause some people said that 2d elements would look worse.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multisamp … advantages

MSAA would have to be a feature provided by the compositor.

ssaa will be less blurry but *much* slower and it still entirely and only depends on whether your compositor offers that - this has nothing to do with wayland per se.
