[SOLVED] Booting problem between two laptops: Lenovo and HP

Hi everyone,

I have installed Arch Linux and I am using dual booting with Windows 10, the problem is that I first installed the OS on my Lenovo computer and worked fine, the UEFI showed me the Grub_UEFI boot partition, but then I booted Arch Linux on a HP computer, it told me that "No bootable device was found", and giving me the option to "boot from EFI files". When I tried to boot from Lenovo again the system no longer recognize the media and didn't give a boot option from file.

I am thinking that has to do with the BIOS configuration of every single brand: Lenovo and HP. If I'm right I am very curious to know why this happen and if there is a solution.

I can give you any information that you need, only help me indicating me what commands should I run and I post the results here.

If your intention is to swap around the harddisk you need to setup the fallback path, which can be done by rerunning the appropriate grub-install command with the --removable flag, note the green tip box: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB#UEFI_systems

Normal NVRAM entries will be cleared when the corresponding disk is removed.
