Hey there!
I've noticed that the VLC build flag has been disabled for this new version.
https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-c … GBUILD#L39
As a result theres no VLC Video Source as an available source.
Why was it set to this?
Is it possible to re-instate it?
Cheers!

Here is the reason for disabling it: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/70794

Ah so that's why.
I didn't find it because I didn't search for "Closed" bugs lol
Anyway I guess the solution would be to install vlc-luajit from the AUR and using obs from the official repository
Thanks!

You have to recompile OBS with the source enabled (or maybe you can compile and install that plugin separately)

You are correct!
For future viewers: you have to build OBS with DDISABLE_VLC=OFF or simply omit that build flag and you need vlc compiled with luajit.
