I recently installed arch linux with KDE plasma on my ROG zephyrus g501, and everything went smoothly with one issue: audio does not work on anything other than the built in speakers.
I've fully set up Bluetooth but it spits out an error when I try to pair my headphones.
I thought that I'd just use them wired until I could figure out bluetooth but when I plug in no sound comes out. The computer detects the card, all the mixers are turned up, and the volume monitor shows audio being played, but nothing comes out.
I've tried reinstalling all my audio programs, changing cables, and all the other things my friend who uses arch told me to do.
I've got windows installed as well so it's not urgent, but I'd love to be able to actually hear things when I'm using linux, can you help?

Post relevant logs or ask your friend .... Are we supposed to guess your audio server configs...let me get a crystal ball

Rules for problems.
Everyone has problems. Animals have problems. And buildings. And cats, and trees.
Problems are your friends. Treat them well.

Potentially related to a bug in the current bluez, see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=267219 for more information.
