[Solved] Dual-booting with another Linux cannot boot Arch

When I try to boot Arch from GRUB installed in Linux Mint, it freezes at Lenovo logo. (I have a Lenovo laptop.)

In comparison, it boots Ubuntu fine. (I quad-booted, Mint, Ubuntu, Arch, Windows.)

Also, booting Arch directly from GRUB installed in Arch also works fine.

After getting into Arch, I cannot seem to find a thing from journalctl...

Re: [Solved] Dual-booting with another Linux cannot boot Arch

/etc/grub.d/30_os-prober seems to be probing wrong initrd, returning only /boot/amd-ucode.img for for Arch.

As a quick fix, I add this to /etc/grub/30_os_prober at around line 253.

        # Arch Linux quick fix
        if [ -z "${LINITRD##*"ucode.img"}" ]; then
          LINITRD="${LINITRD} /boot/initramfs-linux.img"
        fi

Of course, the path /boot/initramfs-linux.img is a magic word, and does not really probed. It came from https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/microcode#GRUB
