The keyring did not get unlocked prompt with LightDM, no auto login

Hi,
I've been fixing the last bugs of my first Qtile rice, but I couldn't find how to fix this one.
I use LightDM as my display manager and I don't use auto-login, and polkit-gnome.

Every time I log in, I get prompted with a "The keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into your computer" polkit prompt when I open VSCode, and sometimes other applications.

I tried using the guide on the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GNOME/ … ay_manager

Also I made sure that the keyring password is the same as my user's login password

How can I get rid of this?

Re: The keyring did not get unlocked prompt with LightDM, no auto login

Hi,
Did you fix it?
I ran into the same problem recently, I couldn't get it working even after trying what is written in the wiki and what I could find on the forum. I got it working in the end by replacing all "include" by "substack" in /etc/pam.d/lightdm (as suggested here: https://bugs.gentoo.org/747625). I'm not a pam expert though, so it might not be the best solution…

Thanks! I applied that change, but I can't know if it worked right away (because the keyring popup is quite random)
I'll update on the problem's status

I've tried your solution, but I still get those keyring auth popups...
