Need help setting up multiple monitors with wayland?

So I am running Arch Linux with GNOME 40.2 in a vmware virtual box, and I am having trouble using it with multiple monitors

I had an Ubuntu virtual machine that I could cycle monitors easily but it was using x11 with virtual monitors to do it, but I have no idea how to replicate it with wayland

any help would be great thank you

I'm having trouble mean nothing, tell us how you want to setting GNOME.
BTW i think that you can easily replicate your ubuntu virutal machine by apply the same changes that you have on Ubuntu on the setting files of your Arch virtual machine.

Re: Need help setting up multiple monitors with wayland?

I basically want to replicate virtual monitors with wayland on GNOME so that I can use the VMware's cycle multiple monitor setting to use my second monitor

Have you seen https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VMware … solution_5 ? Also are you sure/have you seen references that this should work properly with Wayland in general?
