After Update nvidia package to nvidia 465.31-12, get display error.

My laptop is HP Zbook 15 G2, I use Gnome + Xorg.

Following is my N card modal:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK107GLM [Quadro K1100M] (rev a1)

After update to nvidia 465.31-12, display is broken, with others strange behavior.

1. display is broken, following is some screenshot.

2. Always scroll current window to the end, e.g. when start a telegram-desktop, it scroll down to the end automaticlly, when scroll back manually, it do it again.

After remove nvidia driver and switch to Wayland, this issue is gone.

Please don't embed oversized images directly.

That package upgrade is only a compatibility bump for the kernel. If you didn't install  linux 5.12.13.arch1-2 with that same transaction (... or aren't booting into it) then this is an expected outcome. Other potential causes are a race condition with starting xorg and enabling the nvidia driver, in which case you will want to set up: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … de_setting
