USB DAC disappears as sink device after waking up from suspend

I have a USB DAC (default.route.alsa_card.usb-Grace_Design_SDAC-00:profile:off). It works perfectly until my PC suspends. Then the usb card doesn't show up anywhere in my system (pactl info, pactl list sinks). The only way to fix is it a reboot, or unplug/replug the USB DAC.

This has been happening for at least a year, both on pulseaudio and pipewire. I've just stopped using the DAC, and rely on the built-in soundcard.

I've tried troubleshooting by following
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire

I also thought that perhaps this was USB autosuspend problem, so I've blocklisted the DAC from doing to suspend using this guide https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_ … utosuspend

But that didn't work either. Does anyone have any ideas on what to troubleshoot next?

Could you post the output of:

cat /proc/asound/modules

both when it's visible and when it's no longer visible?
