G433 headset micro detected but not working

Hi,

I bought a G433 headset. The headset itself is working properly, nevertheless the micro is detected but don't work at all.
I plugged it via USB (micro not detected with jack).

I tried to unmute it with `pavucontrol`, but the problem is still here.

Discord and Audacity have the same issue with it.

`pulseaudio` and `alsa` are installed.

My kernel release is "5.12.8-arch1-1".

Thank you for your help.

Re: G433 headset micro detected but not working

I found a link who talk about G433 headset support on Linux :
https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?id=usb:046d-0a6d

Here is the content of the sound/usb directory :

$ ls -R /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/ | rg sound/usb

Is this file really needed to be able to use the G433 microphone ? If yes, how can I get it ?

Help is welcome.

Re: G433 headset micro detected but not working

These are kernel sources. They are already compiled as part of your kernel. According to the outputs above everything is present as necessary. But you aren't recording anything.  repost the last two commands while actually attempting to record something.

Does

parec -d alsa_input.usb-Logitech_G433_Gaming_Headset_000000000000-00.mono-fallback --file-format=wav test.wav

not work?

Re: G433 headset micro detected but not working

Good news,

It seems that a previous update (I suppose) fix the issue, because the microphone works now.

Thanks for all,
