I've installed Arch but from the start, I am troubleshooting battery issues.First I had an issue with NVIDIA GeForce MX230 which drained my battery in just an hour and the GPU fan also ran always which generated a lot of heat, did some digging and found that linux is not compatable with dual GPUs. So did a clean install again by skipping drivers for NVIDIA(didn't try "Bumblebee" or any managing software) and only installed mesa package for my intel integrated graphics which gave an 3 hour standby and with TLP and installing its recommended packages (2 I think so for hard disk, couldn't remember the name) , gave me a total 4 hour standby for a fair usage. Now the problem is the capacity of battery is reducing significantly when I use Arch( If I use windows 10 it gave a standby of 6 hours and just 0.2 capacity reduce on 15 days as daily use). First I also used VMware in Arch with another OS(Just mentioning to know the cause)but now I shifted it to windows.I done very basic install of Arch just simple KDE and not even display manager. I love Arch , its principle and community. But this battery issue is a pain in the butt. I am ready to lose 2 hours of extra battery performance by Windows but the capacity thing is annoying. My laptop is around 1 year old.Should I be worried about the capacity thing? If so what should I do to solve it?
